Cakrawala: Jurnal Pendidikan is an international, peer-reviewed journal published by the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Pancasakti Tegal. The journal welcomes original research articles and systematic reviews that contribute significantly to the field of education.
1. General Requirements
Originality: Manuscripts must be original works that have not been previously published or are currently under consideration by another journal.
Language: All manuscripts must be written in clear and concise English.
File Format: Submissions should be in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.
Template Compliance: Authors are required to use the official journal template to ensure consistency in layout and formatting.
2. Manuscript Structure
Manuscripts should be organized as follows:
Title: Concise, informative, and accurately reflecting the study.
Author Information: Full names (without titles), institutional affiliations, and the corresponding author's email address.
Abstract: A single paragraph (max. 250 words) summarizing the research objectives, methods, key findings, and conclusions.
Keywords: 3 to 5 relevant terms for indexing purposes.
Introduction: Must state the background, research urgency (e.g., post-pandemic educational shifts), research gap, and clear objectives.
Methods: Detailed description of the research design, participants/data sources, instruments, and analysis procedures (e.g., bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer or Biblioshiny).
Results and Discussion: Results should be presented clearly using tables and figures where necessary. The discussion must interpret findings in the context of existing literature.
Conclusion: Summarizes the main findings and provides implications for future research or practice.
References: List all cited works at the end of the manuscript.
3. Technical Specifications
Citation Style: Manuscripts must strictly follow the APA Style (7th Edition) for both in-text citations and the reference list.
Reference Software: Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management tools such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.
Recency: At least 80% of references should be from primary sources (journal articles) published within the last 10 years.
DOI: Digital Object Identifiers (DOI) must be included for all references where available.
4. Figures and Tables
Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively and titled appropriately.
All visual elements must be high-resolution and cited within the main text.
5. Ethical Considerations
Plagiarism: All submissions will be screened using Turnitin. The maximum allowed similarity index is 20%.
Permissions: Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to use any copyrighted material within their manuscript.
Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
